I am just going to keep this short - it is delicious! The burger itself consists of a beef patty, cheese, pickles and rocket and comes with a side of onion rings. The patty is cooked well and is tender and juicy – not dry at all. The bun is soft and compliments the entire burger well. The onion rings are fried in a light batter and are so moorish, I could easily smash a bowl of these alone!
Having been to NYC and tasted the ultimate burger (in my opinion) - Shake Shack, I really enjoy the Press* burger alot and it satisfies my cravings for the NYC burger that I sorely miss. Whilst my friends and I enjoy other burgers (i.e. Burger Theory), when I think burger for lunch, Press* is always top-of-mind.
For a lunch time meal it is a little on the pricey side ($16.50) but it is definitely worth it!

PacMan gives the Press* burger 8/10 chops on the chopping board.
I added a twist to my burger. Before grilling it I would drizzle a bit of white wine to it. The result is amazing, it has a distinct flavor and I think that the patty was more juicier with this process.
ReplyDeleteThe burger looks delicious, I think I should try that out as well. Match it up with my favorite cocktail drink, I bet it'll be a perfect combination. Of course, I'll drink in moderation cause drinking alcoholic beverages aren't that bad though too much of it is a no-no.
ReplyDelete@Alexander Ellis - I haven't heard of that before? Something a little different. I guess we always cook meat in wine, why not do it for a patty?!
ReplyDelete@Jerry Tran - The burger is great! One of the better that I have had in Adelaide. Of course of course, drinking in moderation is key :)
