NYC Quick Chop! Burger and Lobster take II

Burger and Lobster - 39 W 19th Street, NYC 10011

I (Mirko) previously visited Burger and Lobster a few months back (check out the review here), and based on their simple three item menu (beef burger, lobster roll or lobster) chose to try their lobster roll. With a friend of a friend visiting from overseas, Burger and Lobster was again on the menu. However, this time I opted for the lobster.

The lobster can be either steamed or steamed and finished off grilled, with a side of fries, salad, a lemon and garlic sauce and weighing in at 1.5 pounds. As per my last visit, the dish was delicious. The lobster was cut in half and we were also provided with something to crack the shell when required. The meat was cooked well, was not tough or chewy and was sweet - all things that are expected when eating lobster. Coupled with a tangy lemon and garlic sauce, this made for a great meal.

Lobster - $20
The thing I like about Burger and Lobster is that there is a very simple menu (three items) all of which are done really well (2 out of 3) so far. So next, stay tuned for the beef burger!
