NYC Quick Chop! Koshe Poke

Koshe Poke - 43 E 34th Street, NYC

On The Chopping Board (OTCB) was recently invited to try out the Poke Bowls at Koshe Poke. Poke Bowl was provided to OTCB free of charge.

For those who are not aware, Poke is a raw fish salad originating from Hawaii. At this mid-town location, patrons have the ability to create their own Poke Bowl where they can choose their:
  • Base (rice, quinoa, none)
  • One protein (free) with additional protein at $2
  • Add-ins (up to 6)
  • Sauces (1)
  • Toppings (up to 4)
Choosing a standard bowl like the one noted above starts at about $13.

Custom Poke Bowl
On this occasion, we went for the white rice bowl with salmon, edamame, mango, avocado, sweet potato, mandarin, orange, sweet and crispy onions, seaweed salad, masago, sesame seeds and mild ginger. Overall, the dish was a healthy and tasty option. Ingredients were fresh, customer service was prompt and helpful in explaining the options and the portion size was decent given the price.

If you are after a healthy meal alternative, give Koshe Poke a visit!
