Rosey's - 139 Unley Road, Unley, SA 5061On my regular Saturday morning hunt for a brunch venue I hadn't already visited, I (Amanda) arrived at Rosey's on Unley Road. Mirko from On The Chopping Board (OTCB) visited Rosey's back in 2013 (review here) and didn't have an amazing experience but since Rosey's is still going strong so many years later, I thought it was time OTCB made a revisit.
We arrived on a busy Saturday morning around 11:30am and were initially informed there may be a 10 minute wait but while we ordered some coffees to pass the time, a table became vacant in the back courtyard. We were escorted to our table towards the back of the full and buzzing courtyard and perused the menu. My mum and I were both drawn to the same dish and decided to both order the same. When the server returned to take our order we were informed there would be a half an hour wait for food. We were not in a rush so this wait was fine for us and we got to catch-up over coffees (DeGroot Coffee) in the meantime.
|Almond Milk Latte $5.30|
|Veggie Breakfast $20|
We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at Rosey's, simple food done very well is hard to beat and we will definitely be returning a lot more regularly in the future. With a comfortable and homely ambiance and friendly service to match, we still have Rosey's on our mind weeks after our visit!
