Amanda's Green Smoothie

 
The Field Wholefoods Ingredients

Ingredients:

200ml of liquid consisting of:
½ lemon, squeezed
1 grapefruit, squeezed (optional)
Remainder with coconut water or filtered water (or a mixture of both)

350g to 400g of fruit/vegetables consisting of:
2-3 spinach leaves
1 cos lettuce leaf
2-3 kale leaves
6cm long piece of cucumber
2 florets of broccoli (including stem)
1 apple (or pear)
1cm thick piece of ginger
2 sprigs of parsley, mint, coriander or basil (or any herb of choice)
1 tspn chia seeds (white or black)*
1 tspn linseeds*
1/2 tspn spirulina powder*
1 tspn bee pollen*
½ tspn tumeric*
1/2 tspn honey (optional)*

4-5 ice cubes

Green Smoothie

Method: 

Chop the spinach, lettuce, kale, cucumber, broccoli, apple or pear, ginger and herbs into smaller pieces acceptable for your blender.

Blend all above ingredients for 1.5 to 2 minutes in a blender until desired consistency is achieved.  Add a little extra water if consistency is too thick.
