Brooklyn Brewery - Sorachi Ace (Saison)
Beer: Sorachi Ace (Saison)
Alcohol/Volume: 7.6%

How was the palate prepared? Becks
First sip mental image: Belgium bistro. Mussels. Chips. Cobblestone streets.
Colour: Golden, honey, straw in colour.
How did it taste?
The first sip immediately honed in on the Belgian influence on the beer. A hint of Leffe Blonde is there at the first taste. The Belgian yeast has made its mark. Once you move past the abbey ale flavour , the Sorachi Ace hops kick in with citrus undertones matched with a crisp malt finish at the back of the palate. The hops give the beer a very unique flavor. This is not a beer you will come across often but it’s a great experience and highly recommended.
Medium bodied mouthfeel and with a very creamy and fluffy head. Highly carbonated with a little bit of sediment coming out in the last pour as the beer is unfiltered.
Suggested accompanying food?
Goats cheese with a fresh crusty baguette
Under what circumstances would I drink a six pack?
This is a 750ml bottle and at 7.6% ABV, this is definitely not a six pack beer! Highly recommend sipping this beer. Share it with a friend and enjoy the balanced blend of sorachi ace hops, pilsener malt and Belgian yeast.
