Recipe - Almond Breeze - Peanut Butter Quinoa Bars

Peanut Butter Quinoa Bars |
Ingredients:
1 cup quinoa (uncooked)
2 ½ cups oats
¾ cups dark chocolate chips
¼ cup flaxseeds
¾ cup smooth peanut butter
¾ cup Unsweetened Almond Breeze almond milk
¼ cup maple syrup
Method:
1. Cook the quinoa according to the directions on the package. You’ll need 2 cups of water per cup of quinoa. Allow to cool.
2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and prepare a 20cm square baking tray.
3. Combine the quinoa, oats, chocolate chips and flaxseeds in a bowl and mix to combine.

4. Add in peanut butter, almond milk and maple syrup. Stir to combine.

5. Pour mixture into pan and spread evenly with a butter knife or spatula.

6. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow bars to cool completely before removing from pan and slicing.
7. Store in the fridge for up for 5 days.
